ABOUT US

Asking industry to constantly evolve to more sustainable and responsible sourcing practices is a good thing. Experts agree, the future of our planet depends on it. The marketplace is shifting, and consumer priorities are playing a large role in product selection for retail, as well as brand performance. Each new positive change or certification comes with significant costs to the manufacturer. These costs could not be transferred into product value, until now, with the advent of ERS (Earth Responsibility Score).

ERS provides brand owners with the means to showcase their responsible sourcing and manufacturing commitment to consumers by means of a printable score and QR code that can be added to packaging. Consumers can quickly and effortlessly walk the retail store and view an easily readable mark on the front of a product or scan a code to view a detailed scorecard, (on the ERS mobile App) of the eight matrix that go into an ERS. Brand owners can also directly reward consumer loyalty though the mobile system with discounts, digital coupons, or promotions.

The ERS is based on a pure data model where companies compete against similar products with scoring done on a data curve.  All data entered is substantiated and verified via document uploads. Scores are valid for 1 year and must be renewed and re-scored annually.

As consumers, it is important to us that corporations are driven to provide products with minimum environmental impact, while providing quality, wholesome products, looking out for the welfare of their employees. How can we know what products and companies are aligned with our responsible sourcing values, and how can we make sure those companies are rewarded for their actions? With the use of ERS to guide our everyday shopping we can ensure that our wallets are used to support responsible companies that care for the planet just like we do.
